Blind Spot Assist
The system makes one of the greatest sources of danger in road traffic visible: vehicles in the driver’s blind spot.
Blind Spot Assist is able to assist the driver in carrying out lane changes with the maximum level of safety – in the city, on multi-lane highways and on motorways. In city traffic, cyclists can also be detected. The system assists the driver by warning of vehicles detected in the blind spot. Blind Spot Assist distinguishes between a warning zone and a collision zone.

Active Parking Assist
Turn the stress of tight parking spaces into effortless calm. Active Parking Assist is not only able to find parking spaces – it also helps you to enter and leave them. As a part of this, it helps you with steering, and on many vehicles, also with accelerating, braking and changing gears.
In the case of a typical head-on parking space, the system helps with driving forward, or reversing into it – while in the case of parallel parking spaces, it helps with reversing and properly parking the vehicle. And if the Active Parking Assist system has carried out the procedure for you in parking the vehicle, it also supports you in the opposite direction when leaving the space again.
The sensors of the system also monitor the surroundings when maneuvering, for example in multi-story parking garages. As a part of this, the system provides visual and audible warnings of detected obstacles – so you can avoid any damage to your vehicle.

- Active Parking Assist: Detects parking spaces up to 35 km/h, controls steering, in conj. with automatic transmission it also helps with accelerating, braking and changing gear

- Side obstacles can only be detected after they have passed the sensors
- If crossing traffic is detected when reversing out of a parking space, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert can emit a visual and audible warning and, if necessary, initiate emergency braking automatically (only in conjunction with Blind Spot Assist or Active Blind Spot Assist)
